Onyx removed his master from Lady Evelyn as gently as he could. Master Dervin was no longer awake and the amount of blood on his clothes looked massive. Onyx reached for the knife, preparing to remove it from the wound.
“Ah, trying to finish him off?” came an unexpected voice from behind. “Do you need help?”
